Children shouldn’t work in fields, but on dreams. Yet today, 152 million children are still in child labour. To raise awareness about the plight of child labourers worldwide, Prestige International School conducted a special assembly on Anti-Child Labour Day on 20-6-2019. “Relieve us from ‘tools’ we want to go to school”, this quote was highlighted in the assembly followed by an enactment by students showing the evil effects of child labour. The Assembly concluded with students promising that if they see any child working as a labourer they will report it to the right authority and make India free from child labour.
